PTA Signage Structures

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) of Western Australia engaged Design and Analysis, to deliver engineering certification services for passenger-facing signage across multiple train station sites. This project involves the structural review and certification of signage fabrication drawings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and long-term durability requirements.
Design and Analysis assessed each signage design for structural integrity, including footing verification, fixing methods, and material suitability. The scope also includes estimating the life expectancy of signage structures and recommending routine inspection intervals to support asset management. D&A collaborated closely with the PTA Signage Team to address design clarifications and attend meetings as needed.
This project highlights Design and Analysis’s expertise in transport infrastructure signage certification, structural engineering compliance, and public safety assurance.
